If you already have Native Access, just start the application.
You’ll be asked to log in with your NI account. If you don't have one, you can create one within the app.
Please pay particular attention to the 'Installation Preferences' – see below for details.

STEP 2: ENTER SERIAL NUMBER IN NATIVE ACCESS

Select ‘Add serial’, and enter your MASCHINE serial number as shown on the flyer in your product box or on the underside of your hardware unit.

STEP 3: INSTALL SOFTWARE

Install the MASCHINE software and library, and all other software you need. If you already have the MASCHINE software, please upgrade to the latest version.
In order to create the necessary preset database, the MASCHINE 2 software should be launched once in standalone mode prior to being used as a plug-in.

IMPORTANT: When you run Native Access for the first time, you’ll be asked to ‘select a target folder’. Native Access will install all product content, such as sample libraries, into this target folder. Sample content in particular takes up a lot of space, so you may want to install everything to a dedicated hard drive.
IMPORTANT: On Windows computers, you need to point Native Access to your preferred VST plug-in folder. Once selected, all Native Instruments VST plug-ins will be installed into this folder.

Berlin, May 20, 2015 ' Native Instrument today released KOMPLETE SELECT ' a premium selection of 10 KOMPLETE Instruments and Effects carefully chosen to give producers working in all genres a wide-ranging toolset for music creation. The release of KOMPLETE SELECT comes in tandem with the KOMPLETE KONTROL 1.1 software update, which opens the KOMPLETE KONTROL platform to all single KOMPLETE Instruments and provides a powerful new set of performance features. KOMPLETE SELECT is free for all registered KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series keyboard owners, as well as all registered owners of the MASCHINE 2 software.

KOMPLETE SELECT includes 10 carefully selected KOMPLETE Instruments and Effects. Included in this suite are NI's best-selling synth MASSIVE, the new sampled piano instrument THE GENTLEMAN, the true-to-life analog synth emulation MONARK, and the first-of-its-kind acoustic/electronic drum hybrid DRUMLAB. RETRO MACHINES MK2 comprises over 20 pristinely sampled legendary vintage instruments from the 70s and 80s. VINTAGE ORGANS delivers high-quality recordings of classic organs. WEST AFRICA provides the sound traditional West African percussion, playable solo or as polyrhythmic ensembles from an intuitive pattern sequencer. An enhanced preset management system allows quick saving and recall of user presets from within the KOMPLETE KONTROL software. New Touch Kontrol functionality allows users to control more of the software directly from the keyboard, providing a more immersive hardware experience without the need to refer constantly to a computer screen.
